A Note Before You Pull a Card

The Elemental Oracle Deck was made to help you slow down, listen, and notice. It is not a substitute for the people in your life who are trained to actually help — and we want to be clear about that.

Entertainment & reflection only

The cards, the spreads, the guidebook, the AI interpretations — all of it is offered for personal reflection, creative inspiration, and entertainment. The deck does not predict the future. It mirrors what you already sense, and gives you a structure to sit with it.

Not professional advice

Nothing in the deck, the app, or the site is, or is intended to be, a substitute for:

• Medical care — including mental-health care, psychiatric care, or addiction treatment.
• Legal advice — from a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
• Financial or investment advice — from a licensed financial professional.
• Spiritual direction from a clergy member, therapist, or trained spiritual director who knows you.

If you are working through something serious — a health concern, a legal question, a financial decision, a mental-health crisis — please reach out to a qualified human who can help. The cards can be part of your reflection, but they should not be the whole of it.

AI interpretations

When you ask for an interpretation, it is generated by an AI language model (Claude, from Anthropic) in real time. The model is good, but it isn't an oracle, a therapist, or a friend. It does not know you personally, it can make mistakes, and two interpretations of the same spread can read differently. Treat the AI's words as a starting point for your own reflection — never as a final answer.

Cultural roots & respect

The deck draws on imagery and ideas from many living traditions — herbalism, animism, elemental philosophy, the seasonal wheel, and more. We've done our best to honor those traditions respectfully, but we are not initiated teachers of any closed practice. If a particular card draws you to a deeper tradition, please learn from elders within that tradition rather than from us.

Use at your own discretion

Different places have different rules about oracle decks, divination, and spiritual practices. Please use the deck in a way that's consistent with the laws and customs of your community. You are responsible for your own choices and the choices you make in response to what the cards seem to say.

One more thing

If a reading hits something difficult, please be gentle with yourself. Close the app. Take a breath. Call someone who loves you. The cards aren't going anywhere.
